“I already have loads of skincare products. Why should I bother with Hemp Seed Oil?”

The majority of skincare products currently on the market are petroleum-based, and many contain minerals which do you no good. These minerals can’t be absorbed, meaning they sit on the skin, clogging up pores, starving you of oxygen and leading to blackheads. Yuck. This is why more and more progressive skincare producers are starting to use hemp seed oil as the foundation of their products. Hemp Seed Oil is a non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores or cause breakouts. It’s an excellent alternative to other natural oils such as coconut oil, flax seed oil and palm oil, which have high comedogenic ratings, which means that those with sensitive skin can more-or-less guarantee a breakout.

Jojoba Oil; Soothes Dry Skin & has anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba oil help in skin repair and damage control.

Rosehip oil; It helps reduce scars and fine lines, Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. It's no wonder that the oil has long been used as a folk remedy for wound healing, as well as the reduction of scars and fine lines.

Sweet Almond Oil; Thanks to the Vitamin E, sweet almond oil keeps your skin cells healthy, protects your skin from UV radiation damage, and helps your skin look smooth, soft, and free of fine lines. The fatty acids help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin.

Grapeseed oil contains high levels of linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid that can help control acne by decreasing clogged pores. “Acne-prone skin has been found to be deficient in linoleic acid, making the sebum (oil) thick and sticky, leading to clogged pores, it's also an anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, making it an ideal sidekick in your fight against breakouts, and can be used as a carrier oil for tea tree oil, another potential acne fighter. Bonus: The vitamin E in grapeseed oil may help lessen the appearance of acne scarring Some studies show that linoleic acid may reduce inflammation in the skin’s epidermal (top) and dermal (middle) layers. Plus, the phytosterols (a type of molecule found in plants) in grape seeds may help control the skin’s inflammatory response, This is definitely a handy oil to have around if you have any inflammatory disorders and much MORE.
